Galway Bay fm newsroom – The N59 has fully re-opened following a road traffic crash this morning.
The single vehicle incident occurred at the Galway side of the ongoing roadworks shortly after 8am.
One man has been taken to University Hospital Galway, but Gardai say his injuries are not serious and the measure is precautionary.
The crash led to the partial closure of the N59 and significant tailbacks during rush hour traffic.
Gardai say the scene has now been cleared and the road has fully re-opened.
