Galway Bay fm newsroom – More time has been granted to build a Science and Technology Park in Oranmore.
An extension of planning permission has been granted to IDA Ireland for the development at Carrowmoneash.
The Science and Technology Park would include a manufacturing facility to accommodate a Biopharmaceutical research facility.
It also involves future development works for office, research and manufacturing activities.
Planning permission was due to expire last weekend, but substantial work has already taken place.
The planning permission has now been extended until October 2020.
