Galway Bay fm newsroom – A file has been sent to the director of public prosecutions in relation to two burglaries which took place in Galway over the weekend.
Two men, both aged in their early 20’s and understood to be from Galway, were arrested following burglaries at a shop in Bushy Park and a hair Salon in Moycullen.
They were arrested in a joint operation involving Gardai from Mill Street and Salthill as part of “operation Thor”, a new Garda initiative targeting criminal activity.
The men have since been released and a file sent to the DPP.
