Galway Bay fm newsroom – Developing the townland of Ardaun is crucial to the future growth and development of Galway city.
That’s according to Galway West Deputy Derek Nolan, who says that Ardaun is situated at a prime location south of the M6 Motorway near the Galway Clinic.
He says it’s well placed to cater for Galway’s future expansion, sited near Parkmore, the M6 Motorway and the major IDA hub planned for Athenry.
The Labour Deputy says it’s the perfect opportunity to develop a clear vision for the creation of a badly-needed townland before a single block is laid.
Deputy Nolan says the development of Ardaun can be a major tool in solving Galway’s housing problems.
