Plans approved for expansion of city hostel

Galway Bay fm newsroom – A city hostel is set to expand.
Kiltartan House at Forster Street has been granted planning permission to change second floor office space to hostel accommodation.
The new accommodation will provide an extra fourteen-suite bedrooms, common room, kitchen and dining area.
The development will also include alterations to the existing external fire escape stairs.
City planners have attached nine conditions.
These include a stipulation that no additional signs are to be erected on the building.
