Galway Bay fm newsroom – The High Court will decide today whether or not to fast-track a third application for a Judicial Review against a decision to allow Apple’s planned data centre in Athenry.
Last month, a judicial review of An Bord Pleanala’s deicision was granted by the High Court to two local residents.
However, Apple was subsequently granted permission to have the case heard in the Commercial Court – which will speed up the process considerably.
A third application for a judicial review has geen granted to Brian McDonagh – who it’s understood lives in the east of the country.
The High Court will decide today whether Apple can also have this case heard in the Commercial Court.
