Government slammed over increase in Galway homeless figures

Galway Bay fm newsroom – It’s being claimed that Galway’s rising homeless figures are a clear indictment of the Governments failure to take action on the crisis.
Senator Trevor O’ Clochartaigh says the latest figures show that the number of homeless cases across the county rose between August and September.
He’s suggesting the situation is being made worse by the Government’s continued refusal to act on the current crisis facing the private rental sector.
Sinn Fein Senator O’ Clochartaigh says the Government cannot continue to sit on it’s hands and do nothing.
