Galway Bay fm newsroom – Landowners along the proposed route of the Galway to Dublin greenway may be able to apply to the Department of Transport for compensation.
That’s according to Transport Minister Shane Ross.
Minister Ross has told the Dáil that potential levels of compensation for landowners will be discussed while the department identifies and agrees a preferred route for the amenity.
According to Agriland.ie, the department is planning to engage with landowners along the currently stalled Galway to Athlone section in the coming months.
