Galway schools secure 29 additional resource teachers

Galway Bay fm newsroom – Galway schools have secured 29 additional resource teaching posts since September.
There are now almost 515 resource teachers in Galway, providing over 12 thousand 300 teaching hours across primary and second level schools.
Resource teachers provide support to students with additional educational needs.
Minister of State for Gaeltacht Affairs and Galway West TD Sean Kyne says education is a key focus of investment and key resources are being placed at schools across the city and county since the beginning of term.
