Galway Bay fm newsroom – The contract for the design of Phase 1 of a new school building for Archbishop McHale College in Tuam has been awarded.
The Galway-Roscommon Education and Training Board has awarded the contract to a team of McGahon Surveyors Limited, MCOH architects, Patrick J Newell Consulting Engineers and Jerry Geanet Building Services Consultants.
Planning permission for a new school building for Archbishop McHale College in Tuam was granted last year.
The site, located at the junction of Dublin Road and Athenry Road includes a strip along the northern wall of Tuam cemetery.
Phase 1 of the project will involve 5 general classrooms, a science laboratory, a home economics room, toilets and a special educational needs suite.
