Galway Bay fm newsroom – A Book of Condolence for golfing legend Christy O’ Connor Snr will be opened at City Hall this afternoon.
The Knocknacarra native was made Freeman of Galway City in 1970 and won over 20 tournaments on the Irish and British circuit during his golfing career.
Mayor of Galway Councillor Frank Fahy will open the book today at 2.30 and it will remain open to the public to sign at City Hall until Friday.
