Galway Bay fm newsroom – The Irish College of General Practitioners is holding its annual conference in the city this weekend.
The event is focusing primarily on mental health issues.
A new research study will be launched at the conference, which shows that patients who visit an out of hours GP, often have poor follow-up with psychiatry services or their own GP afterwards.
The conference is taking place at the Radisson Blu Hotel in the city until tomorrow evening.
