Galway Bay fm newsroom – A Galway TD has revealed that sixty percent of all representations made to his office relate to housing and homelessness.
In his maiden speech in the Dail, Roscommon Galway TD Eugene Murphy spoke of the extraordinary number of people in dire straits in his constituency.
The Fianna Fail Deputy slammed Minister Alan Kelly, whose behavior and attitude towards the crisis he described as ‘appalling’.
His comments echo those of Galway West TD Catherine Connolly, who criticised Minister Kelly’s arrogance during her maiden speech earlier this month.
Deputy Murphy told the chamber that Alan Kelly’s attitude during debates on the housing and homelessness crisis has been unacceptable.
