Galway Bay Fm news-A section of the Tuam-Headford Road at Belclare will remain closed for the next 40 minutes following a two car crash in Belclare.
While nobody was injured in the crash the road remains closed on the Tuam side of Belclare village and traffic is being diverted towards the quarries on the Caherhugh side of the village.
Traffic going towards Tuam from the Headford side is being diverted via Newgarden and Sylane.
Tuam Gardai are at the scene and tow trucks are on their way to remove the two crashed vehicles which are blocking the road at Belclare at present.
The Gardai say that roads in this area of north Galway around Belclare and Castlehackett were very slippy due to heavy falls of hailstones before midday today
