City and county to host Easter Sunday Dawn masses

Galway Bay fm newsroom – A number of Dawn masses will take place in the city and county to celebrate Easter Sunday tomorrow. (27/3)
Anyone hoping to attend a Dawn mass is advised to wear warm clothing and bring a stool or seat if needed.
The first of the Dawn masses gets underway at Cloonkeenkerrill cemetery in Gurteen at 6 tomorrow morning. (Sun)
The Dawn mass for the parish of Abbey / Duniry will also take place at 6a.m tomorrow at Ladywell in the village of Abbey.
Mass will take place at Ballyloughane beach in Renmore at 6.30 tomorrow morning.
It was changed to 6.30a.m due to the clocks going forward tonight. (Sat)
A Dawn mass will also take place at the Prom in Salthill at 6.30a.m tomorrow.
Mass will take place at 7a.m tomorrow at the Pier in Annaghdown while Lavally’s Dawn mass will also take place at the lake at 7a.m.
An Cheathrú Rua is holding its Dawn mass at 7 tomorrow morning at Barr a Doire, while Athenry’s ceremony will take place at 7a.m at Lady’s Well.
Mass will be said in the church ruins at the old cemetery in Killererin at 7 tomorrow morning, while Kilconly parish will also hold its Dawn mass at 7 under the Round Tower at Kilbannon cemetery.
