Galway Bay fm newsroom – Almost half of people across Galway bought a car last year.
That’s according to the latest research by Carzone.ie.
The study shows 49 per cent of Galway people bought a new or second-hand car in 2015 – with Volkswagen Golf being the most sought after model.
The research also revealed that 36 per cent of Galway motorists are not satisfied with their motor insurance premium.
Data for the study was carried out through analysis of the 11 million searches carried out on carzone.ie during 2015 and a survey of 1,700 motorists nationwide.
