New car sales across Galway have increased by more than one-third in the first 10 months of the year.
Between January and October last year, over 3,700 new cars were bought across Galway.
According to new figures from the Society of the Irish Motoring Industry, there have been over 5,000 new cars sold across the city and county so far this year.
Nationally, over 120,000 new cars were registered by the end of last month – the biggest growth in new car registrations in seven years.
