Galway Bay fm newsroom – People will have the opportunity to learn about Chinese culture in Oranmore.
A new free 5-week course to gain an introduction to the language and culture of China will begin on tomorrow week, Saturday November 7th.
Places are open to adults and second-level students, but there are only 20 places available.
The aim of the course is to build on the current programme to expose young people to the Chinese culture through local schools.
The first one-hour course gets underway at Oranmore Library at 10am tomorrow week.
Senator Fidelma Healy-Eames says it’s a great opportunity for adults to learn about Chinese culture.
