Galway Bay Fm newsroom-Arrangements are afoot among doctors in Connemara for a public meeting to highlight the pressures being encountered by G.P.s in the area.
The meeting is tentatively scheduled for Clifden within the next fortnight and all public representatives and General Election candidates are being invited.
Doctors in Connemara now want politicians and aspiring politicians to give a strong commitment to supporting their work and boosting the medical services in the area.
January 21st is being pencilled in for the public meeting in Clifden Town Hall.
