Two high level meetings today discussed the future of the ferry service but no definite solution has yet been found
The ferry company it set to withdraw the service to Inis Mór from January 17th amid controversy over an 80 cent passenger levy.
Comharchumann Forbartha Arann Teo met at the Imperial Hotel with Island Ferries which operates the current service, Oireachtas members, County CEO Kevin Kelly, council executives, county cathaoirleach Pete Roche and councillors
Comharchumann spokesperson Cathy Ní Ghoill says the meetings were constructive in that all stakeholders were involved
