Gardai follow definite line of inquiry following discovery of body in Kilcolgan

Galway Bay fm newsroom – Gardai are following a definite line of inquiry as part of their investigation into the discovery of a woman’s body in the Kilcolgan area.
The discovery was made by a man while out walking his dog in the Tyrone area at midday yesterday during high tide.
The body has since been removed to UHG where a post-mortem exam will be carried out.
A garda investigation is underway as efforts continue to identify the decomposed remains.
This involves forensic tests including DNA comparisons.
