Local impact of world trade deals to be discussed at city meeting

Galway Bay fm newsroom – The potential impact of the trade and investment partnership between the E.U and the U.S on local communities will be discussed at an event in the city this evening and tomorrow.
Galway City Community Network is organising the event which takes place this evening at 7 at the Harbour Hotel in the city.
The Network is also hosting a second session tomorrow morning at 10.30 at the Harbour Hotel which will focus on Public Sector Duty.
The duty was introduced in 2014 to bring a focus on non-discrimination, equality and human rights in planning, policy-making and employment.
