Galway Bay fm newsroom – Just 30 homes across Galway qualify for the Government’s first time buyers scheme.
According to a new report from property website Daft.ie, the bulk of new properties that qualify are in Dublin and its surrounding commuter counties.
To qualify for the first-time buyers scheme, houses must be new builds and worth less than 600 thousand euro.
There are 643 such properties in Dublin, followed by Kildare on 344, Meath at 318, Cork at 163 and Kerry with 150.
Galway trails significantly behind with just 30 new build units listed in the city and county qualifying for the scheme.
