Galway Bay fm newsroom – The first in a county-wide series of public consultations on a major national flooding programme will take place in County Hall today.
The meetings are taking place as part of the Western CFRAM study, which aims to find flooding solutions for populated areas across the west of Ireland.
Draft flood plans have been drawn up for several towns across Galway.
The first public consultation on the plans will take place from 3pm to 8pm today at County Hall, Prospect Hill.
