Galway Bay fm newsroom – No arrests have yet been made in the ongoing Garda investigation into an alleged shooting attempt in Tuam, outside the town’s swimming pool.
It’s understood a man was confronted by an armed suspect outside a leisure club at the Palace Grounds at 11 this morning.
It’s believed the man was leaving the facility when he was approached by an individual wearing a balaclava and carrying a firearm.
No shots were fired during the incident, so no one was injured.
The suspect fled on foot towards the park.
The leisure facility was busy at the time and Gardaí are currently reviewing CCTV footage.

The incident is understood to be connected to an ongoing family feud.
