Galway Bay fm newsroom – Members of Galway’s Muslim Community have gathered this afternoon to pay their respects to the victims of the Paris terror attacks.
The Ahmadiyya Muslim Community has observed a minute’s silence at a prayer service held at the Maryam Mosque at Old Monivea Road in the city.
The congregation also discussed the attacks on Paris by the group which calls itself Islamic State.
129 people were killed in the terror strikes.
Speaking to Galway Bay fm news, the Muslims at the Galway mosque say Islamic State does not represent Islam.
