Galway Bay fm newsroom – ESB crews are working to restore power to the Aran Islands of Inis Meain and Inis Oirr following a major outage.
Residents of the islands are without power this morning due to an electrical fault.
The ESB is investigating after power to the two smaller Aran Islands went out early this morning.
Inis Mór is not affected.
Up to 400 customers on Inis Meain and Inis Oirr are affected by the outage.
Crews are working to identify the cause of the fault and hope to restore power as quickly as possible.
