Galway Bay fm newsroom – Flowers have been laid at the foot of the French flag at City Hall where a book of condolence has opened following Friday’s terror attacks in Paris.
The book has been opened in the last hour by Mayor of Galway Frank Fahy and French Honorary Consul Catherine Gagneux.
Up to 200 people gathered at the Spanish Arch on Saturday for a vigil in solidarity with the French people.
Catherine Gagneux says the French community is reeling from Friday’s events.
