Galway Bay fm newsroom – A public meeting on suicide prevention will take place in the city this evening. (6/5)
The event is organised by a new group – Suicide Prevention Galway – and aims to gather public suggestions on how the problem of suicide can be dealt with.
The group hopes to come up with a series of actions on how to raise awareness of suicide, and find new methods of prevention.
The meeting, which will also be addressed by author and G.P, Dr. Harry Barry, will take place at the Galway Bay Hotel in Salthill at 6 o’ clock this evening
