Galway Bay fm newsroom – A decision on the future of a flood relief scheme for the Dunkellin river and Aggard stream has been delayed again.
The scheme is before An Bord Pleanála for approval and a decision on its refusal or approval has been delayed several times.
The works would focus on three areas – Craughwell village, Rinn bridge and upstream of Dunkellin bridge to the N18 at Kilcolgan.
Galway East T.D Ciaran Cannon says a decision was expected on the scheme yesterday (Mon) but has been delayed again.
