Galway Bay fm newsroom – Councillors have given the go ahead for loans of half a million euro to be secured for providing 4 units of social housing across the city
The units are being provided by Cluid Housing Association
They cover a two bedroom apartment in Prospect Hill at a cost of 147,200 euro;a one bedroom apartment in Bohermore at a cost of 99,350; a one bedroom apartment at Western Distributor Road Knocknacarra for 120,450; and a one bedroom apartment at Drisin Knocknacarra at a cost of 127,500
Councillors deferred a decision for a loan of 757 thousand euro for 4 two bedroom apartments in Rockfield Park in Rahoon
They requested more information on the price and condition of the properties involved
