Galway Bay fm newsroom – A project to develop manufacturing systems for stem cell therapy has been launched at NUI Galway.
The University’s Regenerative Medicine Institute says it will transform the way stem cells are made.
Stem Cells are used in a number of therapies diseases including cancer, diabetic complications and arthritis.
The 6 million euro AUTOSTEM project is funded by the EU Horizon 2020 programme.
