Galway Bay fm newsroom – A public meeting will take place in Clifden next week to discuss actions which could be taken to save rural GP services across Galway.
The meeting is part of a national series of events being organised by the ‘No Doctor, No Village’ campaign.
Organisers say villages that end up without at GP struggle to survive.
Nationally, 915 doctors are expected to retire in the next five years.
The Clifden meeting will take place at the Station House Hotel this day week, the 21st of January at 8pm.
