Galway Bay fm newsroom – Ireland’s farming community is rallying together to offer its support to farmers affected by flooding in South Galway.
Galway East TD Paul Connaughton says that farmers across the country have been in contact to offer spare fodder to affected farmers in the aftermath of Storm Frank.
The Fine Gael deputy says that the main issue facing farmers in badly flooded areas of South Galway is storage space for animals.
Deputy Connaughton is appealing for any farmers who may be able to help to come forward.
