Galway Bay fm newsroom – A meeting is due to get underway in the city in the next few minutes (12.30) in relation to the future of a ferry service for Inis Mór.
Comharchumann Forbartha Arann Teo is meeting with Island Ferries which operates the current service and Oireachtas members at the Imperial Hotel.
The ferry company it set to withdraw the service to Inis Mór from January 17th amid controversy over an 80 cent passenger levy.
Spokesperson for Comharchumann Forbartha Aran, Cathy Ní Ghoill says they’re are two elements to the current problem.
