New report outlines average cost of childcare across Galway

Galway Bay fm newsroom – The average weekly cost for a childcare place across Galway is 154 euro.
That’s according to a new national survey by Pobal, the findings of which have been published today.
The study looked at 4,300 facilities across Ireland, and found the average weekly cost stands at 167 euro.
Dun Laoghaire-Rathdown has the highest childcare costs in the country, at an average of over 213 euro a week.
