Clonbur celebrates winning All-Ireland Pride of Place Award

Galway Bay fm newsroom:-The people of Clonbur are celebrating this weekend as the area has won the All-Ireland Pride of Place 2016 award in association with co-operation Ireland for towns and villages in the population category 300-1000
The award was presented in Belfast and this is an all-island competition that acknowledges the work that communities are doing all over Ireland in order to improve and enhance the area that they live in.
Representatives from Clonbur who accepted the award in Belfast last night are expected back in Clonbur about now for a homecoming celebration.
Committee member Trish Walsh told Galway Bay Fm news that this is an award that everybody in Clonbur has hard worked to win.
