Galway Bay fm newsroom – An information evening for parents and students of Coláiste Baile Chláir will be held this evening.
The meeting at 6.30 will mark the unveiling of the new school building which will open to students on Friday.
Work on a new access road to the school campus is also underway with crews working towards an opening on December 20th.
The 38 week project led by Stuart building contractors marks the end of phase two of the school building plan.
Phase three will involve the construction of a sports hall and pitches.
School Principal Alan Mongey says a limit of 180 new students can be enrolled next year.
He says over 300 applications have already been received for new entrants next year.
