Galway Bay fm newsroom – Mountbellew Agricultural College is set to host a major public event on farm safety tomorrow (16/11).
The event is organised by the Institution of Occupational Safety and Health and aims to raise awareness of farm safety and reduce the number of farm related injuries and fatalities.
The free event will include practical demonstrations on common causes of farm accidents, including tractors, farm machinery, chainsaws, slurry and livestock.
The public safety event will take place at Mountbellew Agricultural College tomorrow at 10am and booking is required.
