Galway Bay fm newsroom – Power has been restored to almost 10,000 homes and businesses in the east of the city following a major outage this morning.
The outage in the Ballybane area affected several sets of traffic lights at the Briarhill, Ballybrit and Bothar na dTreabh/N17 junctions.
The power went out due to a fault at the Ballybane substation before 9am, but has now been fully restored.
