A new Drug and Alcohol Family Support Strategy will be launched in Tuam next week.
The document has been compiled by the Western Region Drug and Alcohol Task Force.
It aims to raise awareness of the importance of prevention, early intervention and the support role of families in drug and alcohol misuse.
The strategy will be launched at the Ard Rí House Hotel in Tuam at 10 on Wednesday next, the 15th of June.
