Galway Bay fm newsroom – A public information meeting on respite options for people with disabilities will take place in Clifden this week. (Wednesday 1/6)
The event is being organised by ‘Paving the Way,’ and will discuss home-sharing respite and the HSE’s New Directions Policy.
The policy involves setting up local hubs and individualised approaches to funding and service provision.
The meeting gets underway at the Station House Theatre in Clifden at 7pm on Wednesday.
Organiser Tom Healy says the meeting will address a variety of respite options for people living with disabilities.
We’ll have an extended feature on the Clifden meeting and the disability sector on FYI Galway from 5 this evening.
