Galway Bay fm newsroom – Concerns have been raised over illegal dumping at a lake near Moycullen.
Connemara area councillor Noel Thomas says the area around Ballyquirke Lake has become seriously littered.
The lake shore has been described as a ‘party zone’ with a large amount of beer bottles, cans and bonfire remains littering the area.
The Fianna Fail councillor says the County Council needs to urgently clamp down on illegal dumping.
