Galway Bay fm newsroom – Children at schools across Galway will benefit from a significant increase in resource teaching hours this year.
Galway West Fine Gael TD Sean Kyne says from September, schools across the county will benefit from over 11,300 resource hours.
313 resource teachers have been allocated to Galway primary schools, while 173 have been allocated for secondary schools across the city and county.
Deputy Kyne says the teachers provide vital support to pupils at primary and secondary schools.
