Galway Bay fm newsroom – 123 residents’ associations across the city are to benefit from a funding boost.
Galway City Council has signed off on funding of over 25 thousand euro under its Amenity Grants Scheme for 2016.
The grant aid is used to assist residents’ associations in maintaining their local environment.
It covers general improvement works and environmental initiatives, such as the purchase of small garden equipment, litter pickers, estate name stones, repair works and litter clean-ups.
