Galway Bay fm newsroom – Mayor of Galway Frank Fahy will launch a Heart Failure Patient Alliance in the city next month.
It’s an initiative intended to improve the healthcare needs of people living with heart failure as well as their carers.
It’s a joint initiative by heart failure charity, Heartbeat Trust and west of Ireland heart and stroke charity, Croí.
It’ll be launched by Mayor Fahy at the Galway Bay Hotel in Salthill on April 16th at 10a.m and speakers will include specialist doctors, nurses and physiotherapists.
CEO of Croí, Neil Johnson says the Heart Failure Alliance can help patients raise awareness of the condition.
